Türk Maarif Koleji Eğitim, Bilim ve Kültür Vakfı
(TMK VAKFI)
Türk Maarif Koleji Eğitim, Bilim ve Kültür Vakfı (TMK VAKFI), 37 kurucu üye tarafından tesis edilmiştir. Vakfın Kuruluş Senedi'nde açıkça ifade edildiği üzere, TMK VAKFI'nın temel amacı Lefkoşa Türk Maarif Koleji bünyesinde eğitim, bilim ve kültür alanlarındaki gelişime hizmet etmek ve bu alanlara yön vermektir.
Vakfın amaçları arasında; Türk Maarif Koleji öğrenci ve mezunlarına ülke ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda eğitim bursları sağlanması, akademik başarısı yüksek ancak maddi desteğe ihtiyaç duyan öğrencilere eğitim imkânı sunulması ile Türk Maarif Koleji'ndeki eğitim düzeyinin uluslararası standartlar çerçevesinde yükseltilmesi, geliştirilmesi ve tanıtılmasına yönelik çalışmalar yürütülmesi yer almaktadır.
Vakfın 37 kurucu üyesinin tamamı, Türk Maarif Koleji'nde öğretmenlik yapmış, Türk Maarif Koleji'nden mezun olmuş ya da Okul Aile Birliği Yönetim Kurullarında görev üstlenmiş velilerden oluşmaktadır. Mütevelli Heyeti üyeleri ise Türk Maarif Koleji ile ilgili çeşitli organizasyonlarda görev yapmış veya yapmaya devam eden mezunlar ile kolejde öğretmenlik yapmış emekli eğitimcilerden teşekkül etmektedir.
TMK VAKFI, eğitime, gençliğe ve geleceğe yapılan bir yatırım olarak ülkemizin ileriye taşınmasına somut katkı sunmayı hedeflemektedir. Öncelikli olarak bir hayır hizmeti niteliği taşıyan Vakfımızın sağlam temeller üzerinde yapılanması ve sürdürülebilir biçimde gelişmesi için tüm halkımızın katkı ve desteğine ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. İlerleyen süreçte ortaya konacak hizmet anlayışının, TMK VAKFI'nı toplumun her kesiminin sahipleneceği ve destek vereceği bir konuma taşıyacağına olan inancımız tamdır.
TMK VAKFI, kuruluş ilkeleri doğrultusunda hizmet vermeye devam edecek olup, giderek daha geniş bir vatandaş kitlesinin katılımı ve desteğiyle yoluna kararlılıkla devam edecektir. Mütevelli Heyetimiz, Kıbrıs Türk eğitimine hizmet etmeyi onurlu bir sorumluluk olarak benimsemekte; kaliteli eğitim sunulması ve nitelikli bireyler yetiştirilmesini en temel misyonu olarak kabul etmektedir.

Turkish Maarif College Education, Science and Culture Foundation
(TMK FOUNDATION)
The Turkish Maarif College Education, Science and Culture Foundation (TMK FOUNDATION) was established by 37 founding members. As explicitly stated in the Foundation's Charter, the fundamental purpose of the TMK FOUNDATION is to serve and guide the advancement of education, science and culture within the Nicosia Turkish Maarif College.
The Foundation's objectives include providing educational scholarships to Turkish Maarif College students and alumni in line with national needs, offering educational opportunities to academically distinguished students who require financial support, and conducting initiatives aimed at elevating, enhancing and promoting the standard of education at the Turkish Maarif College in accordance with international standards.
All 37 founding members of the Foundation comprise individuals who have served as teachers at the Turkish Maarif College, graduated from the Turkish Maarif College, or served on the Parent-Teacher Association Executive Boards. The Board of Trustees consists of alumni who have undertaken or continue to undertake roles in various organisations affiliated with the Turkish Maarif College, as well as retired educators who served as teachers at the College.
The TMK FOUNDATION aims to make a tangible contribution to advancing our country as an investment in education, youth and the future. As an institution that is, first and foremost, a charitable endeavour, the Foundation requires the contribution and support of the entire community in order to be built on solid foundations and to develop in a sustainable manner. We have full confidence that the service ethos to be demonstrated in the period ahead will elevate the TMK FOUNDATION to a position embraced and supported by all segments of society.
The TMK FOUNDATION shall continue to serve in accordance with its founding principles and will resolutely pursue its mission with the participation and support of an ever-growing number of citizens. Our Board of Trustees regards serving Turkish Cypriot education as an honourable responsibility and considers the provision of quality education and the cultivation of well-qualified individuals as its most fundamental mission.
Hikayemiz/Our Story
